 Soccer

The Hopkinsville YMCA soccer program was started in 1998 when Pat Givens invited the Y to take over the program he established years earlier. Y soccer has established itself as one of the most successful leagues offered in Hopkinsville. Through the help of the community and volunteers the soccer program has grown with over 600 participants in both spring and fall programs. YMCA soccer is offered in both the fall and in the spring. Teams are coached by trained volunteers and coach’s are expected to portray our sports philosophy. All games are held at the Hopkinsville YMCA.   Each player will receive a trophy, and a jersey that includes socks, shorts, and jersey. Players will be responsible for providing athletic shoes or soccer cleats and shin guards.
